A. These places are safe as long as you are an ordinary traveler/ tourist. Not a VIP or hold special place. There is some tension in all these places. At the same time work goes on as usual. The latest is State wide a protest against declaring a Olympic player's entry invalid on charges of doping.

A. Hello - I live in Belmopan, Belize and do website work for people in the area including several tourism clients. One of our clients, Banana Bank Lodge, is right next to him so I have heard a little bit about Green Dragon. Overall, Green Dragon is a well established business and has been working in the tourism field for a long time. The only downside that I have heard is if there are complications with your travel it might be difficult to work out with the folks at Green Dragon. Other then that they seem to be fairly good.

How to live a life of travel and adventure?
Q. I'm single 19 with about $2000 in the bank. I'm suppose to be going to college like all of my other friends but i have no desire to ever pick up another boring text book. A. Unfortunately without some extraordinary skill in those activities they will not support you. Nor will $2000 get you very far. A good mountain bike runs $600-$2000, and rock climbing gear is also very expensive. You will need an income to support the lifestyle. Pick one or two sports you are really into and try getting a job in a related field. If you're into surfing, train for a lifeguard position. If you're into snowboarding, work at a ski resort. Backpacking or rock climbing... you could work at a state or national park... perhaps eventually becoming a ranger (although this usually requires some college). In reality, most people who are into any of the listed activities usually have regular jobs and are "weekend warriors". College is… [cont.]

Q. Hi there! Hoping to draw on the experience of all you travellers out there!! I'm located in Canada but am open to travel in many parts of the world. I'm looking for a fun, flexible, & memorable adventure to do by myself this year. In the past I've hiked through Ireland, kayaked in BC. To give you an idea of what I'm looking for, it would meet the following criteria: - 7-10 days - outdoor adventure - safe (i.e. no threat of being eaten alive by mountain lions because I'm travelling alone, or raped because I'm a woman travelling alone) - physical (hiking, cycling etc..) - inexpensive (open to camping, hostels, & inexpensive hotels etc) - potential for cultural exposure - not too much prep/research required - travel months either July, [cont.]

A. Make sure to wear your radiation suit and iodine to protect yourself against the radioactive aerosol that sprays into the air every time a depleted uranium weapon is used. The region, including Iran has seen cancer deaths and malformed babies increase by a factor of 2 or 3.

A. There's bungy jumping almost everywhere in New Zealand. Where there's a bridge, high mountain ridge, there will likely be a bungy-jumping company there. There's one in Auckland, at the Sky Tower or jumping over the Harbour Bridge. There's also one in Taupo, if you want to stay in the North Island. But if you want to go for the extreme, try Queenstown or Wanaka. There will be many bungy-jumping companies there too, as well as ski resorts in both locations.
